A cat tunnel illness in the heart of China has been successfully treated with a new type of cat medication, according to a report in the official China Daily newspaper.
The treatment, called the “perfect solution,” is being developed by the country’s Cat Medical Research Institute and is being tested in the city of Xishuangbanna.
China Daily reported that Dr. Xu Yilin of the Cat Medical University of China (CMIU), the countrys largest cat medical institute, told the newspaper that the drug works as a “superior” alternative to existing cat medications that are used to treat the same problem.
He added that the treatment has “the potential to transform the cat’s health.”
The report also noted that the Chinese government has been conducting clinical trials of cat drugs to treat some of the cat ailments that have plagued the country in recent years.
According to the report, the new drug has been approved by China’s State Council and is expected to be in widespread use in 2018.
The drugs were developed by a team of Chinese scientists working with a veterinary research organization based in Beijing.
